Ariana,
Hey BooBoo! I just have so much fun with you, Little One. I hope you always know that. Daddy and I love to laugh at you, watch you, and hang out with you. You’re really not supposed to be watching TV and we laughed yesterday when he set you on the ground facing away from the TV and you immediately whipped around so you could see it.
This month has been full of changes and I may or may not say (on repeat), “Not yet, Ari!” You’re just growing and changing so much and I want to soak in every little phase but you just zoom through them. Sitting up all the time makes you seem like such a big girl. You also go from sitting to your belly without busting your nose on the ground now. And the getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth with a few “steps.” (Is that what you call the crawling movement?)
We’ve been hanging out at the pool and cold water doesn’t seem to phase you. You’ve loved your little float and the baby pool the first few times and then teeth started to make an appearance and you decided the float was only interesting for 5 seconds.
You’ve been on solid food for a month now and your favorites are any of the dissolvable teething crackers. You’re also a big fan of any kind of bread, because carbs. As long as you can put the food in your mouth, you’re generally pretty happy about it. If I come near you with a spoon you immediately start waving your hands and grunting. I think Ne-Yo wrote a song about you. #MissIndependent
I looked back through some of the videos we’ve taken of you in your seven months of life and I got all sentimental. Even more amazing than your constant growth is how much I forget until I see it on video. Here’s to the next month that will include a trip to the beach, the mountains, and Father’s Day.
I love you more than you can imagine.
Love, Mom
