Last year I recapped 2014 and it’s one of my favorite posts to look back on! Here’s a few of our favorite moments from 2015!
{January}
We rang in the new year with some of our favorite people and Megan brought rock candy for our festive midnight toast.
I was excited to share my faux fur vest look and I wrote about 28 things you should do in honor of my 28th birthday.
My sisters came for a weekend visit and were featured in a fashion post.
And we went to Blowing Rock with the Robinsons and Palozzis. Literally one of the best weekends of the year!
{February}
I had my own little fashion week.

{March}
Lucky Girl tshirts made their debut in The Studio.
I wrote a post about ways you can simplify your life and featured more fun looks.

We also celebrated David’s birthday but have no good pictures to show for it. March was an exciting month because that’s when we found out we were expecting our little bundle in November. But it was top secret at that point 😉
{April}
I wore maxi dresses every day and we went to Florida for Spring Break… that pretty much sums up April. Well, that and I was nauseous all day, every day.

{May}
Fashion posts went out the window, apparently. But we celebrated Mother’s Day, went to Knoxville for a weekend and announced our exciting news!
{June}
I felt much more like myself {hello second trimester!} and got back into more of a blogging routine as the school year came to a close!

The inaugural lake day!
We went back to the beach and found out we were having a girl!
{July}
We spent tons of time doing projects around the house and with my growing belly, I struggled between regular clothes and maternity. I think this was also my first month participating in the What’s Up Wednesday post and we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.
Mom and Kaitlyn came to refinish furniture for the nursery.

With the start of school, it was a busy month! I got to spend a weekend with the girls in the Tennessee mountains, my childhood bestie got married, and we struggled with selecting a name for Ariana {Ariana wasn’t even on our radar yet!}.

And we spent several days living the lake life.
{September}
The second trimester came to an end and I wrote a letter to Baby Girl at 30 weeks. I also focused on giving myself grace as the days became more difficult.
We also got to meet our niece, Avery.
{October}
I continued working on the nursery, we went to the Carolina BalloonFest and I wrote about the Irresistible Me wand and I’m still pretty obsessed with it. We were thrown three baby showers and my belly just kept growing!
We packed our bags, selected a name, finished her room and then Ariana surprised us all by showing up a week early!
Our Thanksgiving was extra special this year.
{December}
With an altered sleep schedule and the most beautiful baby, I didn’t find very much time to blog. Instead, I was soaking up every minute of this brand new life. I did find some time to write about how different the Christmas decoration process was this year. And we hit the one month milestone with Ari.
I had so much fun reminiscing as I looked back on 2015. There were some parts of pregnancy that weren’t easy but I can easily say this is one of my favorite years. God blessed us with this beautiful girl and I’m so grateful!
Happy 2016, friends! Let’s be intentional to enjoy every moment of this new year.
