After last weekend’s girls trip, this one was spent on the lake and with friends. I just love weekends… all kinds. The traveling kind. The lazy kind. The productive kind. The fun kind. It’s so rejuvenating for the week ahead.
Thursday morning I had a doctor’s appointment to check up on Baby Girl. This chick loves her some Chic-fil-A so I couldn’t deny her a biscuit. I mean, she’s working so hard to grow right now. And yes, I know Thursdays aren’t really weekends, except when you’re a teacher – then anything can count as the weekend.
Friday afternoon we spent a relaxing afternoon on the lake to take advantage of our last day of summer. This week is back to work! After the lake, we headed to dinner with Scott + Sarah. #theperfectfriday
On Saturday, we drove around to check out some yardsales but didn’t find what we were looking for.
After unsuccessful yardsale attempts, we grabbed more Chic-fil-A and headed out to the lake again.
Saturday night was a reception for this sweet little guy who just got baptized.
Leaving the party, our conversation went something like this:
“We have two options for dinner.”
“I’m not really that hungry.”
“One: we can eat leftovers at home. Two: we can go to Chipotle.”
“I guess you want Chipotle.”
And that’s when you know you have a good man. And when you know you’re obviously pretty pregnant because when does David NOT want to eat? Yikes – I must be eating a lot! {Clearly it was inhaled too quickly to snap a photo.}
We finished the evening with a little bit of Parenthood and then Sunday looked something like this: church, lunch, nap, golf/blog. And laundry… always laundry.
