One of my favorite things ever {like, ever ever} is getting together with some friends and munching on yummy food. Let’s get real, who doesn’t? But I love when everyone brings a little appetizer or side dish and we just make that our dinner. I would do that every night for dinner if I could.
We’ve done the appetizer things twice recently and I’ve made two new dishes that I’ve really enjoyed. The first idea came from Pinterest… shocker, right? I was having a few girls over but I wanted to make something a little different. I settled on toasted ravioli because it sounded simple and delicious. {Basically my only two criteria for ever making anything in the kitchen.}
Ingredients
+Bag of frozen ravioli {mine came with 70 ravioli bites and I used maybe 1/3 of that}
+1/2 cup milk
+1/2 cup sour cream
+Grated parmesan cheese {I used shredded because I already had it but grated would have worked better}
+Tomato sauce
+Bread crumbs
Method
1. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil
2. Mix milk and sour cream together in one bowl
3. Mix breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese together in another bowl
4. Dip the frozen ravioli first in the butter & sour cream mixture and then in the bread crumb & Parmesan cheese mixture. {This step can get a little messy.}
5. As you dip, lay them on a baking sheet
6. Bake for 10-14 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce as soon as they come out of the oven because they cool off quickly.
