Not your mother’s one piece swimwear

I’ve been swooning over one-piece swimsuits for the last couple of years. I haven’t bought one yet because I haven’t found one that I really liked. I can find them all over Pinterest but not in real life. Anyone else have any luck?

Side note, my mom wears tankinis so it really won’t offend her.

I see so many cute ones on Pinterest too, but never when I’m out. I keep wondering if now that I’m 30 AND have a 2 year old if I should stop wearing bikinis….hahaha! My husband (of course!) tells me I’m crazy and that I should keep wearing them.

  I am 52 years old and grandma of a 6 year old. I have scars on my abdomen and breasts from cancer surgeries. I still wear bikinis. I am proud to show off my body with all of scars, it’s who I am. Without them, I might not have been around to show them off. If you don’t like it, don’t look. I love it when I see women of all sizes and ages that are comfortable enough to own their bodies and show them off in a bikini or a one piece. Be comfortable with who you are and don’t worry what anyone else thinks. Keep wearing them, your husband finds you beautiful. Who else do you need to impress?

TOTALLY agree!!!! I think a top secret store exists and it only offers adorable clothes for pinning, yet impossible to find in real life! I’m with you on the whole “find a super cute one piece” mission!!

I’ve found quite a few on amazon. you’ve just got to be patient looking for them. I’ve also picked some up at Marshalls / TJ Maxx. Modcloth has some cute ones too I have so many one pieces pinned on pinterest.
