Fashion {experiment} week | lipstick + sneakers

I’ve been wanting to try out the sneakers paired with something fancy look. What better time to test the waters than Fashion {experiment} week? I wear these sneakers all the time but they’re typically with a more casual outfit. And red is way outside of my comfort zone. Ok, maybe not way but it’s outside of it. I’m not thrilled with how this shade of lipstick looks paired with the red but I do like the lipstick look in general.

Tuesday’s experiment was stripes + dots. Wednesday’s was sweater + summer dress.

I’ve had so much fun experimenting this week. That’s what fashion is all about, right? What are some of your favorite looks right now? Step outside of your comfort zone and try them!

  Thanks. I’m not usually a red fan but for some reason, I had been dying to wear it recently. And these shoes are from Charlotte Russe {$12.99} and they fit my foot perfectly. I just saw that they have some new ones so I think I’m going to have to scoop up a couple new pairs.

  Seriously. It doesn’t get any better than leopard print shoes. I wear these with everything. I usually don’t wear red but this is my one exception.

  That’s how I feel. Even lipgloss with a little bit of color doesn’t show up in photos. Out of my wide collection of 3 lipsticks – this is my favorite one. I didn’t like the bright red or bright pink as much. This one feels like it goes with more.
