Ever have one of those weeks?  Not a bad one, just a long one?  Like every morning you wake up and can’t believe that it’s still not Friday?  Well, we’re in luck today, friends!  Friday finally decided to show up which means the weekend is right around the corner!  #neededthatthreedaysago

I’m all about routines but I’m just feelin’ a change up today.  Here we go!

You’ve seen our adorable pup.  And our poor, pitiful, sad, naked one.  The naked one typically only exists in the summer.  But David was dead set on getting him shaved about a month ago {not really sure why…}.  So he had to spend a few days in his crate because it’s been ridiculously cold up in here.  And he hates his crate.

So I decided the little guy needed a jacket.  Now, let me preface this by saying I’m not really the dress your dog up, kinda girl.  But desperate times {temps}  call for desperate measures.

Apparently people don’t really put sweaters on their boy-dogs.  Because everything at Petsmart was sequined, pink, ruffly with lace… not for Copper.  Finally found one that was suitable, spent $30 and… he hates it.

I mean, just look at how he’s standing in that first picture.

Also.  Why do they put a hood on these things?

Sooo… how ’bout we went out to eat with friends 3 times this week?  Twice to Wild Wok and once to Longhorn.  And it was all so delicious that all 3 were my favorite meals.  Because when you’re sharing a meal with your favorite people, it just doesn’t get any better.

David.  Duh. Seriously, he’s always awesome but he adds some kind of extra amazingness during basketball season.   He helps cook, do the laundry, doesn’t complain that I’m never home, comes to practice when he can.  Oh, and did I mention he’s in grad school, too?  How does he do it all?

I’m really on this soup kick.  And oh my gosh.  Taco soup?  How have you been missing from my life for so long?  I made it for the first time and David and I are both in love with it.  I was a little worried it would turn out to be too similar to chili and we would have to pick one or the other {and by that I mean we would have to ditch taco soup because obviously, chili’s getting picked around here}.  But it’s not!  It’s delicious in its own way.

I’ve never decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving.  But it’s happening this year.  Specifically, this weekend.  I’m spending all day Saturday decorating and maybe throwing some crafting in!  I mean, I’ve been watching Christmas movies for at least 3 weeks already.
