This week has slowed down a little bit… which is key because last week was the type of week where I felt like I couldn’t get it all done. {You ever have weeks like that?} No matter what I was doing, I was behind. Remember our trip to the winery over the weekend? That was one of my top moments from the week but I won’t throw that one in again… wouldn’t want to make you jealous 😉
These are my favorites from this week.
The Baptist Children’s Home was at our church service on Sunday. They brought 10-12 teenage girls who now live there because they didn’t have a good home life. Four girls told their own stories and it was amazing to hear what some of these girls have endured… stuff no one should have to go through. But their stories are so inspirational and they’ve come out with a positive outlook and are willing to share their story. Dave and I both walked away in awe. We have so much to be thankful for and sometimes we take it for granted.

I had been on the lookout for black flats for over a month but hadn’t found any that were just right. As much as I walk and stand everyday at work, I needed some comfy ones. I finally found some at Rack Room… I don’t love the way they look but after wearing them all day for the first time, I’m in LOVE. It made such a big difference. Eeeek… comfort over style. Did I just get old?

Check out this guy, grilling a spread in the rain. Steak, squash, zucchini, potatoes… delish.

I was missing a chord that I needed in order to be able to finish a craft. After looking for it for a few days, I finally called on my Finder {aka David} and he literally came up with it in less than 5 minutes.

So last week was overwhelmingly busy. I was praying about it over the weekend because I don’t like the ongoing stress. On my way to school on Monday morning I remembered I had scheduled a guest speaker for the day. Guest speaker… on point. Seriously, I got so much done. And today, we have a teacher day… bout to do work!
