Saturday was one of those perfect days.
We packed up, with a few of our best friends, and spent the day at an Italian festival at a local winery. Katrina and Angelo had been to this festival at Raffaldini Vineyards before and the rest of us are so glad we got to tag along this year! It was less than an hour from home so it was the perfect day trip.
Our $15 ticket included a wine tasting, so that was our first stop.
From there, we found a spot on the lawn and ate lunch. Well, after we all bought a bottle.
The food trucks had delicious Italian food. After hanging out on the lawn for a while, we decided it was too hot and needed to find some shade. While we walked across the vineyard with our chairs in tow, I questioned our move. Once we plopped down in the shade, I knew it was worth it. We spent the rest of the afternoon laughing, story-telling and being scared by people popping out of the bushes and planning our bedazzled crop tops for next year. {No really, that’s a thing.}
What a fun day trip. On the way home, Sarah and I conked out in the backseat. Ok, maybe it was just me. But my 30 minute power nap was clutch.
Because Katrina and Angelo got this little beauty on Friday night.
So obviously, Copper had to meet her! They spent their Saturday night like this…
Sorry for the overload of dog pictures. They had too much fun not to share. And we had too much fun watching them. Copper LOVES having a puppy to play with. And after all that playing… pure exhaustion set in.
