One of my favorite things about making dinner is when David loves it and gets excited that I’ve made it. And he loves food. Even better is when he loves it and it took less time than… I don’t know? Ordering takeout? This recipe originated when I found two recipes from Pinterest but both had one or two ingredients that I didn’t like. So I kind of made up my own. And at our house, this became known as ranch chicken. It’s a favorite up in here.
Ingredients
4 frozen chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 packet ranch mix
4 oz. cream cheese
1 heaping spoonful sour cream
1/2 box of small pasta {rotini, penne, shells}
Morning
Dump chicken, cream of chicken soup, ranch, cream cheese and sour cream in the crockpot. Set to keep warm. {This will be in lumps and that’s ok.}
Evening
Boil water and cook pasta
Shred chicken {I use 2 forks} and mix “sauce” together {get lumps out}
Serve sauce over pasta
What easy crockpot recipes do you have? I’m always looking for new. I really want to try the ones that are prepared ahead of time and frozen but I’m kind of skeptical. Well that and apparently you have to put in like 5 hours on a Saturday or something. That’s some dedication {that I apparently don’t have}. Do you have any experience with frozen crockpot meals?
