Five years from today, what will the world be like? What will my life be like? If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last five years, it’s that God opens {and closes} doors in His time – which is not always usually hardly ever my time. I’ve learned how important it is to just go with the flow and pray like crazy because life doesn’t happen according to my “plans.”
With all that being said, I’ve spent some time recently thinking about the future. I’ve been on a huge organizing kick because our house is ridiculously and embarrassingly out of order. And all that needs to change in order to make room for Baby Girl. It’s kind of surreal to walk past a room that’s in the process of becoming her room.
I went to the dentist today and when I was scheduling my next visit for 6 months from now it hit me that I’ll have a 2 month old. Oh, how different life will be. Combine that with Pinky’s post about 5 years and I just couldn’t get it out of my head. What will life be like?
Here’s a little dreaming…
>>We’ll be celebrating 10 years of wedded bliss and hopefully planning a killer trip
>>I’ll be 33
>>Apparently the sun will “go to sleep” – no idea what that means but I came across this article
>>I will have been a real adult for over a decade {aka, out of college}
>>If we still live in this house and I keep watching HGTV, I’ll be itching for our forever home
And a few questions…
>>What will fashion look like in 2020? Will we have a second {or third} kid? What will I be able to accomplish from my iPhone? Any TV shows that are on now – will they still be around?
Kinda fun to think about, right? Where will you be in 5 years?
