Black is the new black

Black on black is so…
sophisticated, glamorous, versatile, Kardashian-esque.

I know you’re soooo surprised to see my black ankle boots again. I can’t help it. I’m in love with them.

And I’ve started watching Hallmark Christmas movies. {It’s not too early, is it?} One character inspired me to do the part in the middle thing. I’ve contemplated it before but never taken the leap. But yesterday I just… bam, decided that was the day to go for it. I really liked how it gave my hair a different look and took all of 3.4 seconds. That’s my kinda change-up.

Are you ever inspired by movie characters? Or something else totally random? Oh, come on… tell me it’s not just me!

{I realize mine’s not truly a middle part; more of a “middle-ish” part. But it’s new for me!}

Do you ever wear a solid color? I’ve done white and denim.

Claire, love the middle part and love black. Black never goes out, goes with anything and everything and looks great on everyone. So I have two thirds black in in my closet. It may be all black or black and a color, but as I said it goes with everything and makes one look smaller which is a plus. Love those shoes too, Going with Thursday Thankfulness I am thankful for black! Keep up the good work and inspiring us all, young and old!

  Right? Solid black is so effortless yet chic. And yes, the tote is one of my favorites. I bought it a year ago and carried it nonstop and then it found its way to the back of my closet for some reason. And now I found it again so it feels brand new!!
